In these uncertain times, when stress and fear keep our nervous systems stuck in fight-or-flight, your voice and body offer a simple, embodied way back to center.
This is not a singing class or performance program. It’s an entry-level, non-judgmental space to explore your voice and body as pathways to calm and balance.
Over five weeks, you’ll practice guided toning, breath, and body exercises that help regulate the nervous system and release tension.
Each session includes experiential practices, at-home recordings, and weekly assignments to support daily use. As the journey unfolds, you’ll create your own unique soul sound—a personal chant to carry with you as an anchor of peace, presence, and inner home, no matter what’s happening around you.
Your Facilitators:
Lindsay Facknitz – An intuitive singing healer and voice work facilitator known for creating safe spaces of authentic expression. Lindsay helps participants discover resonance, release stress, and find presence through the power of sound.
Mark J. Platten – An author, teacher, and transformational guide with decades of experience in embodiment and sacred practice. Mark brings warmth, wisdom, and grounded leadership to every session.

Frequently Asked Questions
Do I need to be a singer or have any musical experience?
Not at all. This is not a performance or singing class. It’s a safe, non-judgmental space where anyone can use their voice as a tool for grounding and healing.
What if I miss a live session?
All live (Zoom) calls are recorded and uploaded within 48 hours with a link sent to your email on file.
What if I feel uncomfortable sharing my voice in front of others?
Group microphones will be on mute while Lindsay and Mark are guiding vocal exercises. So you can explore your voice in private. You'll have opportunities to vocalize for the class if you choose.
Can my partner/household family member join me for the 1 price?
Yes, this is per household, not individual.
What will I need for the course?
Wear comfortable clothing, bring a journal and water, and have space to move a little. That’s it—no special equipment required except for a computer or cell phone for watching the course on. If using a computer, make sure it has a camera and mic either built in, or attached.
How much time outside of class will this take?
We’ll offer short daily practices (15–30 minutes) and optional journaling. These simple tools are designed to support your daily life, not overwhelm it.
What is a “soul sound”?
It’s a unique personal chant you’ll create during the course. This sound becomes an anchor you can return to anytime for calm and inner peace.
